Interested to find this film which reveals the thinking behind John Baldessari’s work and provides some clues as to the understanding of his painting, work and books.
What comes from it is a portrait of an artist who really tried to get under the skin of the art world and redefine its categories and dogmas. He was fully aware, however, that in time, some category would be needed to define his work.
